OUR GOAL:
|
The goal of Socially Conscious Cinema (SCC) is to produce, promote, market and distribute inspiring and relevant marketing and advocacy films for outreach programs and non profit organizations. SCC will positively effect community service, volunteerism, and local change while entertaining and attracting audiences worldwide. Many socially conscious segments (PSA's) are given to nonprofit organizations as a vehicle for them to raise money for their cause. |

Imagine you had the power to know that life is a story...A story which can be changed. Imagine you had the tools to deal with the repeating dramas of your childhood, before your patterns started. Would that be something you'd want to share with a younger you? Now you can: The kids served by The Foundation for Conscious Humanity (FCH), get to experience RevoLOUtion, one movie, amongst many we intend to deliver, which allows them an awareness to get past the stories that block their dreams.
FCH began when Principal Dennis Johnson of the Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Center requested a supervised screening of the film, REVOLOUTION. Contact us to facilitate screenings in your area.

Serving Nonprofits: SCC will provide production services for fundraising events, websites and educational programs that will help inform, inspire and involve people. A United World

Check out our new video contest: "New Year's Eco-reSOLUTIONS 2008." The contest invites you to upload a short video to QuantumShift.tv, max 2 minutes, telling us "What will you do for the planet in 2008?" Prizes for the winning videos include personal carbon offsets, eco-friendly snowboards and skateboards, Fair Trade sports balls, and more. Resolutions can range from the personal -- i.e. take fewer showers, walk more/drive less -- to the political -- i.e. vote for green candidates, give money to environmental groups -- and can be local or global in scope.
Videos can be uploaded anytime between now and midnight EST on January 15, 2008. Voting will remain open through midnight EST, January 22. The first, second and third place winners will be announced on January 23, 2008. Submissions can come from anywhere on Earth (though void where prohibited by law), but we can only deliver the prizes to addresses in the US and Canada.
